Actor Bradley Cooper and supermodel Irina Shayk have split after four years together, according to multiple sources.

People Magazine broke the news and sources confirmed to US Weekly that the two are parting ways.

The two began dating in 2015, according to US Weekly. Cooper, 44, and Shayk, 33, have a daughter, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, who was born in 2017.

INSIDER contacted Cooper's representatives but could not independently confirm the news at the time of publication.

Cooper has been nominated for seven Academy Awards and appeared in films like "The Hangover,""Avengers,""American Hustle," and "Silver Linings Playbook."

He made his directorial debut with "A Star is Born," which he also starred in opposite Lady Gaga. During the 2019 Academy Awards ceremony, he and Lady Gaga performed an intimate version of the song "Shallow" from the film, which sparked romance rumors on social media.

Lady Gaga denied the rumor in an interview and said the two were just acting.

"Yeah, people saw love, and guess what? That's what we wanted you to see," she told Jimmy Kimmel in February. "I mean, this is a love song, 'Shallow.' The movie, 'A Star Is Born,' it's a love story."

"I'm an artist and I guess we did a good job," she continued. "Fooled ya!"

Bradley Cooper and his girlfriend, supermodel Irina Shayk, have split after four years together, which means Cooper and his "A Star Is Born" co-star Lady Gaga are now both single.

Cooper and Gaga play lovers Jackson and Aly in the movie and their on-screen chemistry was palpable for fans. The two artists often spoke about that chemistry during the press tour. 

In an interview with Vogue, Gaga said she felt a connection with Cooper from the first moment she met him.

"The second that I saw him, I was like, 'Have I known you my whole life?'" Gaga said. "It was an instant connection, instant understanding of one another."

Cooper seconded the connection while describing why he cast her in his directorial debut while at the Venice Film Festival. According to Variety, the 43-year-old actor "fell in love with her face and eyes."

They sparked romance speculation in early 2019 as they proved their chemistry during their performance of "Shallow" from "A Star is Born" at the 2019 Oscars.

Following the performance, Gaga told Jimmy Kimmel on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that the two were just acting. 

"Yes, people saw love and guess what? That's what we wanted you to see," she said. "I'm an artist and I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!"

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga sent fans into a frenzy when they performed a steamy rendition of "Shallow" at the Oscars in February. The pair starred together in the hit film "A Star Is Born," and since then, people can't seem to get over the chemistry between them.

But not everyone is eager for them to get together. Cooper split with his long term girlfriend Irina Shayk in June, with whom he has a daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper. And since then, trolls have descended on Gaga's Instagram, demanding she "give Bradley Cooper back" to Shayk.

According to the Daily Mail, the majority of the comments come from Russian accounts, where Shayk is from.

"You took not only a man from Shayk, but also followers from Buzova," wrote one person, referencing the Russian personality star Olga Buzova.

"Gaga, take Petrosyan, he was already divorced!" joked another, referring Yevgeny Petrosyan, a Russian comedian.

"We have returned the Crimea, we will return Bradley too," one comment said, while others compared the two stars. For example, "our Irina's legs are still longer," and "Irina Shayk forever!"

"You can not come to Russia, b----!" warned one troll.

Some people just seem to be along for the ride, and several unrelated, seemingly random conversations are going on within Gaga's comment section, entirely in Russian.

"I have no idea how I got here and what I'm doing here, but the Russians are here, I'm here," one said.

"Guys, what series to watch in the evening? Games of thrones are over, who is watching now?" asked another in Russian.

One person simply declared: "Today is my birthday!"

Cooper and Gaga have denied rumours they were attracted to each other several times. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Gaga said she and Cooper gave them a good show at the Oscars.

"Yes, people saw love and guess what? That's what we wanted you to see," she said.

"I'm an artist and I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!"

Actress and singer Lady Gaga was photographed kissing and enjoying an intimate brunch with audio engineer Dan Horton on Sunday — and fans are crushed that the "Bad Romance" singer's apparent new boyfriend isn't her "A Star Is Born" costar Bradley Cooper. 

After People magazine shared photos of Gaga with Horton at a Los Angeles restaurant on Tuesday, fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment that Gaga and Cooper hadn't started a relationship. 

Some felt that the PDA was a PR stunt.

Others threatened to boycott Cooper and Gaga's hit single "Shallow" because of the news. 

Speculation that Gaga and Cooper were secretly in a relationship started soon after their film "A Star Is Born" premiered last October.

And following their emotional, intimate performance at the 2019 Oscars, most fans of the film felt that Gaga and Cooper had to be in love. Gaga and Cooper's splits from their respective exes in the months following their sensual performance only added fuel to the fire.

Gaga has said in past interviews that she and Coooper had an "instant connection" and "instant understanding of one another."

Brad Pitt credited Bradley Cooper with helping him get sober during his acceptance speech at the National Board of Review Awards on Wednesday. 

Pitt, who was accepting the award for best supporting actor, had nothing but praise for Cooper, who presented the award. 

"Thank you, Bradley. Bradley just put his daughter to bed and rushed over here to do this. He's a sweetheart," the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor said during his speech. 

"I got sober because of this guy, and every day has been happier ever since. I love you and I thank you," Pitt added. 

While presenting his friend with the award, Cooper thanked the National Board of Review for finally recognizing Pitt, calling his portrayal of Cliff Booth in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood""wonderful." 

Pitt got sober in 2016, following his highly-publicized split with Angelina Jolie. He spent over a year in Alcoholics Anonymous, and has abstained from drinking ever since. 

"I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privileges," he told the New York Times in 2019.

• James Corden and Rebel Wilson poked fun at their movie "Cats" as they presented the Oscar for best visual effects feature.

James Corden and Rebel Wilson ironically presented the Oscar for best visual effects while wearing costumes inspired by their movie, "Cats."

Audience members laughed as Corden and Wilson walked across the stage looking just like their CGI "Cats" characters from head to paw.

The duo mocked their 2019 movie based on the much-loved Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, which Insider's Libby Torres called "an unmitigated disaster and gigantic waste of time" in her review. 

"As cast members of the motion picture 'Cats,' nobody more than us understands the importance of good visual effects," Wilson and Corden said together.

After naming the award nominees, the pair batted around the microphone like cats would as cameras panned across the laughing faces of Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron, Olivia Colman, Florence Pugh, Renée Zellweger, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Antonio Banderas and Bradley Cooper. 

The Oscar for best visual effects went to Sam Mendes' war epic "1917," as predicted by Insider's Jacob Sarkisian. 

However, Corden and Wilson's comedic performance was a direct reference to the backlash and teasing of "Cats'" use of CGI which saw people on Twitter freak out about the movie's bizarrely human-like characters even before it came out. 

The overwhelming response also spurred the director Tom Hooper to make some adjustments to the movie's visual effects.

Back on December 24, Corden joked on "The Late Late Show" that he hadn't watched the movie he starred in as he "heard it's terrible"— despite its release almost 10 days prior. 

The movie, which cost $95 million to make, flopped at the US box office, making just $6 million on its opening weekend.
